I missed you all this morning. Bella and Aidan have had colds and coughs for the last week and I didn't want to pass it off to your babies. I am looking forward to next semester, hopefully meeting every week. I will try and plan another girls night at my place after the holidays. MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Girls Night

Thanks Jocelyn, Pricilla and Nacia for coming over on Friday. We missed everyone who couldn't make it. We didn't end up playing any games, but just spent about 3 hours visiting. I know it was exactly what I've been needing.
I would like to plan to do it again sometime soon... I'll have to look at the calender and see what weekends the holidays fall on and try to plan around them. If any of you ever want to just stop by my house to hang out feel free. I'm almost always here and my door is open.

Doc Appt.

So this isn't so much of a great midnight idea as it is airing my frustrations. I had a doctors appointment today. I'm 37 weeks and I've still only been seen once a month. So as you might guess I'd been storing up some questions. We'll I was in the middle of asking them, when the midwife cut me off right after she answered one of my questions and said, "Okay, it was so nice to see you. Make an appointment for 2 weeks. Bye." And left. I'm frustrated. I know she is busy, but I could potentially deliver any day! But the one thing she did tell me is she thinks I won't deliver before my due date. Bummer, I guess I'll be having about 500 bathroom breaks between now and then. December baby it is! Maybe on my birthday! :)

Hi everyone. I just sign up to be able to chat with you all. Hopefully I'm doing this right. I not sure where exactly it happened but I became a bit of a technophobe. Don't know how to do a lot of things. For those of you who asked, I emailed Jami and she says with family in town right now she doesn't need any dishes delivered to her house. Maybe in December. I barely hear from her these days and emails sound as if she isn't getting much sleep. I keep asking myself...Why did I sign up for this?

Hey Everyone,

I really enjoy our small group its really great to hear everyone going threw the same thing I don't feel so alone with what I'm going threw. I'm blessed to know each of you!!! Sara this is a great blog thanks for creating it. Ethan and this time change is really affecting him too. Well I hope you guys have a great weekend.

I don't know about you guys, but daylight savings has totally screwed us up. Aidan will stay up till 8, but he has been awake between 4:45 and 5:30 every morning so far. Bella is wide awake at 5:30. I'm hurting for some sleep right now; thank goodness for coffee!

I had a brilliant idea that I wanted to run by all of you. I would love it if one day, maybe Friday the 16th at 7pm, if everyone who can came over to my house for a girls night. I was thinking that if you can, get your hubbies to watch the babies for a couple hours, bring your favorite game and I'll have dessert and some decaf coffee, and we can enjoy some adult time. Of course if some of you would need to bring your babies I wouldn't mind. I was just thinking that I know I am in desperate need of some adult female conversation without the kids distracting me.

Midnight Memoirs

Have you ever been up in the middle of the night, feeding your little one, thinking you have so much to say right now and no one to tell it to but a 10lb blob sucking the life out of you? I did. Most of the time I would shop online or type a journal, one handed, with very bad spelling, becuase waking up my husband was not an option. Not that he wouldn't have gotten up, but what would he have done other than listen to my midnight rants and genius ideas. And I have come up with some great idea's at 2 in the morning...but that's a whole other post. So here's a place for your midnight memoirs, I'm excited to read the adventures of other new mommies, so we can learn, laugh, cry, and just share life together. Let's shake, rattle, and roll!!!!
